How long have you being in business?

Angels of Central Alabama was founded in September 2012 and has been in business since then. Overtime we have served patients of varying backgrounds and walks of life and we have a great understanding of the challenges that families have to deal with in caring for their loved ones.

What is Home care?

Home care is care non-medical care received in the comfort of your home. These services include assistance with activities of daily living such as betting in/out of bed, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, assistance with bathroom visits, and much more. The services also cover light laundry, light housekeeping, meal preparations, medication reminders and errands

What kind of home care services do you provide?

The services also cover light laundry, light housekeeping, meal preparations, medication reminders and errands

Are your caregivers hired employees of sub contractors?

Our caregivers are employees of ACA. We do not subcontract our services because of the necessity to pursue exceptional services to our patients. Our caregivers are trained on a regular basis to ensure competency. They also undergo regular background and driving record checks 

Are your caregivers insured and bonded?

We are ensured as an agency, and all our caregivers are covered by the same insurance. We also are licenced to provide services in Alabama 

Will I have one primary caregiver assigned to my house?

Yes. We believe in one-on-one care, and this means that you will have one primary caregiver assigned to you at all times. We only send in a secondary caregiver in the event that your primary caregiver cannot make to visit you at any one particular time.

How much control do I have over the services I receive?

We allow you to have control of the services you are receiving. We work together with you and your support system to develop a plan of care that addresses your needs adequately, and give you room to make adjustments as necessary as long as those services fall within the scope of our services

Can I terminate my services anytime?

​We do ask you to provide advance notice of at least two weeks before you terminate services. This allows us to plan adequately pending termination of services.

Do I need physician authorization to receive services?

No you don't need a physician authorization to receive care.

How much do your services cost?

Our pricing is determined by the scope of care to be provided. They however range between $16 and $25 per hour, with a minimum of 4 hours per visit. 

Do I pay the caregivers directly?

No. Our caregivers are employees and receive their enumerations through the agency. You will receive an invoice that will require you to pay at the office or through online services
